            We, the Deans of Faculties of Arts and Humanities of European Universities assembled in th
            wish to point out the irreplaceable, invaluable and exceptional role of education in human
            sciences. Over the past few years we have witnessed a gradual and systematic treatment of 

            and research on a purely economic basis. This process derives from the constitutive Europe
            necessary economic growth to match either the economies of the traditional powers, or the 
            new emergent actors. This motivation, however, derives from a mistaken priority to invest 

            quantitative and economic aspects of education, while at the same time ignoring the aspect
            have thus been departing from the European tradition of research-based education through t

            knowledge and a true understanding of the underlying principles. It seems that we are only
            state of enhancing a merely professional training to allow for economic use of human resou

            upozorňujeme na nezastupitelnou a mimořádnou roli humanitního vzdělání. Za posledních něko
            svědky postupné a systematické ekonomizace vzdělání, což je spojeno se základní evropskou 
            ekonomického růstu po vzoru tradičních ekonomických velmocí či nových dynamických celků. T

            ekonomického růstu se ovšem odvíjí od chybné priority, kterou je investice do kvantitativn
            vzdělání a zanedbání parametrů kvalitativních. Opouštíme tak tradici evropského vzdělání z
            výzkumu, který vede k hlubokým znalostem a pochopení principů, a posouváme se do pozic pod

            profesního vyučení směrujícího k ekonomickému využití humánního kapitálu.
