In the evening of Wednesday, Octobe annual race was held – this time the venue of the Hostivař dam was chosen from among Pragu parks. As well as in previous years, the race was organized by members of the section of t and outdoor education of the faculty’s Department of Outdoor Sports. After the opening tribute to Pavel Tajovský and other victims of the mountains from among students, doc. Jan Neuman welcomed „Taják’s“ wife Mrs. Vendulka Tajovská as well as her th nine grandchildren. He also welcomed the students and a number of the FPES alumni who brav inclement weather and turned up to meet their colleagues and friends again after another y Afterwards the rain-soaked race itself kicked off. Forty-three pairs ran out into the fiel to score as many points as possible at 27 control points.
