The cafeterias assist in fighting civilisation diseases by introducing salads
During the exam terms the new year's resolutions regarding healthy diets and regular exercise are easily forgotten. After weeks filled by stress compensated through chocolate and other sweets it is time to change the habits. All the Charles University cafeterias are now adding salads to their menus.

Arts Faculty receives generous donation: two containers of specialist publications
Faculty libraries tend to have problems with the provision of new specialist literature, primarily due to a lack of finance. publications. Thanks to Emeritus Professor Ivan Hlaváček the Faculty of Arts received a donation in the form of 800 scientific publications from a variety of fields.

French specialities in Charles University s cafeterias
In reaction to the succes of the previous Saxon Cuisine Days, the Domitories and Cafeterias of Charles University in Prague have prepared two new daily specials, this time exploring the cuisine of France. On 27th and 28th February 2013 all the cafeterias will have an extra French meal on their daily menu.
