A unique performance of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure played by the Charles University Workshop Production and directed by John Martlew takes place in theatre Divadlo Na Prádle. The actors are non native speakers from the whole university. Tickets for the superb performances on the 24th, 26th and 29th March, where the amateur actors give the performances of a lifetime, are still available

The Last Mission of Our Being: On Education and Its Deformation in the Age of Knowledge
On March 16, 2010, the famous and provocative scholar and critic of the ongoing reforms of science and education in the EU, author of the book Theory of Miseducation, Professor Paul Liessmann, gave a lecture called The Last Mission of Our Being: On Education and Its Deformation in the Age of Knowledge. The lecture, which was a part of the Charles University Faculty of Arts' Wilhelm von Humboldt year event series, was greeted with much applause.

The conference on spiritual life came to a close
On March 11, the Spiritual Life in A Free Society: Twenty Years of Freedom of Religion conference came to a successful end. The conference was hosted by the Hussite Theological Faculty and the Dingir Magazine and took place in the two auditoriums of the faculty on March 10–11, 2010. The schedule was packed and went on to late evening on both days.
