            Prague, May 31, 2011 – This afternoon saw the official opening of a public exhibition titl
            VISION OF CHARLES UNIVERSITY 2030 featuring projects by architecture students presenting t
            the future development of Charles University and Prague.

            Charles University invites the public to a display of semester-long projects by architectu
            from the studios of top Czech technical universities. In their designs, the students are l
            answers to the questions: How and where do architecture students see the finest Czech univ

            years’ time? By that time, will we manage to accumulate all Charles University buildings i
            Prague where they historically belong? Should Charles University by located on several min

            concentrated on a single campus?
            The exhibition was opened by Prof. RNDr. Milan Tichý, Dr.Sc., Charles University Prorector
            and Construction.

            “Charles University now looks at itself. I believe the future development of this universi
            the oldest and largest, but also the most important one in the Czech Republic both in acad
            international terms, is a topic for the whole society,” Charles University Rector, Prof. R

            Hampl, DrSc., said.
