            Daniel Kráľ, a researcher at the Charles University Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, re

            prestigious ERC Starting Independent Researcher Grant.

            The grant is provided by the European Research Council and it aims to support excellent up

            research leaders who are about to establish or consolidate a proper research team and to s
            independent research in Europe. The project titled “Classes of combinatorial objects from 
            algorithms” was proposed in the PE1 “Mathematic foundations” panel. The project will be la

            2010 and will last 5 years.


            Daniel Kráľ was born in Zlín, Czech Republic, in 1978. He received his Ph.D. from Charles 
            2004. He spent the following two years at the Berlin Institute of Technology and the Georg
