Conference "Academic Lessons for Economic Policy” ****************************************************************************************** * Conference "Academic Lessons for Economic Policy” ****************************************************************************************** The “Academic Lessons for Economic Policy” conference took place on May 12 in the building of Economic Studies in Opletalova Street in Prague. Attracting great interest from student the general public, the conference also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of and 20 years of state-independent economics in the Czech Republic. The faculty is one of the youngest at the university. It was founded June 1, 1990, and the were enrolled in the academic year of 1990/1991. The year 2010 marks the 20th anniversary over the building of the Faculty of Journalism. The goal of the new faculty was to offer a for social sciences, especially following the tradition of the short-lived Faculty of soci writing (1968–1972).
