Science through the stomach
The first edition of the scientific/gastronomic festival organised by the Faculty of Science will satisfy your need for knowledge and gourmet experiences. This unconventional festival, entitled Science through the stomach, is aimed at all fans of good food and science. The festival will take place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday 22 June at the Botanical Garden of the CU Faculty of Science (Na Slupi 16, Prague 2).

CU flood update (12 p.m., 3 June)
According to the latest information received from the faculty emergency committees and the University’s Buildings Administration, the flooding of the boathouse in Troja has worsened and there have been minor problems caused by subterranean water and drainage at the Law Faculty at náměstí Curieových and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Troja, while water levels are going down in the partially flooded centre in Dobronice. Statement on flood situation
Since the early hours of Sunday 2 June, the university bursar and other authorised members of university management, as well as the head of the security department of the CU Rectorate, have been monitoring the status of individual premises of Charles University potentially threatened by the flood situation and are in contact with both the emergency committee of the City of Prague and the deans of the relevant faculties (Science, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, Theological, Arts, Law, Mathematics/Physics, Physical Education) and the directors of other sections (Residences and Catering, Buildings Administration).
