            Each semester, Charles University Press Department offers a journalistic internship to the

            students of Charles University.
            We offer a possibility to proof-read, edit and by interest write own articles for the Engl
            our online university magazine iForum.

            We search for students with future interest in journalistic or editing job, who can spare 
            hours a week to proof-read texts prepared by the European Office or our Press Department (
            number of interested students, there will be 1-2 interviews/articles to be edited/written 

            student).
            After having edited 1-3 articles to get the general idea of how our texts are structured, 

            interest, cordially invited to write on your own for us (we will be happy to provide you w
            to the international events Charles University organizes and you can write about them or p
            interviews with your fellow Erasmus/international students).

            You will gain:
            - working experience in the official magazine of a well-known European university
            - knowledge of how a university works on the inside

            - possibility to meet interesting people working for or visiting Charles University
            - invitations to Charles University international events (often otherwise not accessible t
            - certificate confirming and describing your internship with us

            We require:
            - good level of written English (native speakers of English are preferred for the job of e
            - approximately 2 hours of your time a week in the time you get an interview/article to be

            written for us (= 1-2 times a month)
            - reliability
            - interest in university life and happening at Charles University

            - in the case you are interested in writing for us on your own, 1-3 edited interviews/arti
            magazine to hand in before writing on your own (unless you have already written/edited tex
            similar magazine or have other similar experience)

            The internship is unpaid.
