- The precautionary principle under the EU food safety regulation;
- The EU regulation on genetically modified foods and its principles. The relevant case law;
- The EU regulation on novel foods: the concept of novel foods and the authorization procedure;
- A controversial issue: the role played by the precautionary principle in regulating biotech foods and novel foods.
