Na 10. českých akademických hrách získala Univerzita Karlova první místo!

The biggest university sporting event involving individuals, university teams and sports clubs has closed. Between June 5 and 10, 2011, some 2,400 students – 340 them from Charles University – competed at Prague stadiums, indoor arenas and outdoor sports venues. In the overall school ranking, our university placed first out of 43 teams, scoring 340 points.
Overall rating – results:
1st place: Charles University, 340 points
2nd place: Czech Technical University in Prague, 274 points
3rd place: University of Economics, Prague, 188 points
Charles University students participated in 53 events, taking:
35 gold medals
35 silver medals
23 bronze medals
In collective sports our students gave outstanding performances in men’s and women’s football, in men’s softball and women’s floorball. As for individual sports I was impressed by their performances in the track-and-field and swimming events.
