His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Faculty of Arts

Dear students,

we cordially invite you to attend a roundtable discussion on "Democracy, Human Rights and Religious Freedom in East Asia" to be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 13:00 at the Large Hall of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.

Confirmed speakers include: His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Spiritual Leader, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, India/Tibet; Tomáš Halík, Sociologist, President, Czech Christian Academy, Czech Republic; Jianli Yang, Dissident, President and Founder, Initiatives for China, USA/China; Steven Gan, Editor, Malysiakini, Malaysia. The discussion will be held in English. Visitors are advised to arrive early. The hall will open at 11.30.

Subsequently, you will receive an email with further instructions and access details so that you can login to the Forum 2000 registration system. Registration is open until Thursday, September 5, 2013 or until capacity is reached. The venue is wheelchair accessible. In case you require wheelchair access, please indicate so in your registration email.
