Charles University Rector awards Rector’s Cup to University Marathon winners

Five Rector’s Awards for the Charles University’s best academic publications, textbooks and lecture notes of the year were handed out at today’s session of the Charles University Academic Council. The Charles University Rector also awarded the university’s memorial medals to two outstanding personalities – the immunologist Prof. MUDr. Terezie Fučíková, Dr.Sc., and historian Prof. PhDr. Ivan Hlaváček, CSc.

The Rector’s Award for best academic publications, textbooks and lecture notes of the year is awarded annually to individual authors or teams for their academic publications, textbooks and lecture notes published in the previous year. Nominations are submitted by faculty deans or directors of Charles University departments to the Charles University Prorector for Scientific and Creative Activity after they have been discussed by the faculty’s or department’s editorial committee. The award is accompanied by a prize of CZK 2,000 –10,000.

This year’s winners are:

- in social sciences:

Mgr. Jana Hubková, Ph.D.
